Grant Funds

The Friends of Wild River is offering funding for the following 3 grants:

1) Master Naturalist Grant: for anyone to become a Master Naturalist, sponsored by the Univ. of Minnesota. This grant will reimburse the tuition for the one of the three available courses. The money will be sent once the course is completed.

2) Stan Nelson Project Grant: for misc. projects within Wild River State Park that contribute to the enjoyment and experiences of all who participate in the project or the results of the project.

3) Transportation Grant: money will be provided to school groups and other organizations to cover up to half the cost of buses or other vehicles to transport children to Wild River State Park.

Please allow 6 weeks for grant processing and approval. The grant/project must be approved by the Friends of Wild River State Park Board and the Park Naturalist.
